Reacting and covering my center line with at least something very fast is the main action to keep me going.
It does not matter what I do, but that I keep the center covered.

When you are reacting to get to where you want, is the best response the fastest? I think it is, but I also need
to make it in an aware manner, so that I can handle myself. Too much rushing to be just fast is not efficient.

What are your thoughts?

It's better to react with something and the action you do fast is most likely going to be the best you can do in given situation.

My toolset ain't very large just yet, so when fast action is needed I'm going to do something I'm most familiar with.
That's not necessarily the best action there can be, but I think it's the best action I can do in that situation.

With more training the repertoire of fast actions hopefully gets bigger.

Good point about the toolset, Ville-Pekka. We deal with the cards we have.

It is also good to know which reactions and tools can be combined, I think. With some tiny
moves you can get quite far. And the smaller the move the faster the reaction.
