Dear forum mates, what is your definition for love? Thank you.

For me, love is a state or feeling where I can be myself, as vulnerable as I am, and still act to follow that feeling. The feeling can be toward anything - action, objects, beings, even myself, but there is always an object to which the feeling turns to.

In this talk Brené Brown talks about vulnerability, shame and fear, and how it affects the human connections.

She says, that people that feel connection with others have "courage to be imperfect", and "compassion to be kind to themselves first before others". They were also able "to let go of what they should be", and just were what they were.

But the most striking thing was that they were proud of their vulnerability, and thought it necessary. So in order to feel connection and love, you need to have vulnerability.

Fontunatelt it can be trained when you just become open and practice joy and gratitude, Brown says.

The main thing for me in this video was that when ever I face my fears, pain or vulnerability with wonder, it it much easier to be myself. Be vulnerable enough, to not know all the answers, but wonder what it may be. This is how love also is born
