Just wanted to gather some statistical knowledge (opinions)... ;)

Reasons: - Mostly melodic, which is good for the soul.
- Hard enough, to keep you motivated.
- Speechless, doesn't interrupt your thoughts (focus).

You're missing quite a few other music genres! Out of your options none of them I find exceptionally inspiring. Well, I can definitely cross out jazz from the list of music that inspires me

I cannot really name any genre that inspires me, but I do like the sounds of nature. (Is it silence then?) Bird songs, running water, ice cracking and the like make me feel relaxed, when I am more open to new experiences.

I think the genre you are talking about is called ambient.
